Better Supplier Labeling: Part 13 [Video]

Welcome back to the Loftware blog.

A recall is one of the most disruptive events that can strike a manufacturer. Having strategies in place is therefore a priority, though in ideal circumstances companies will never have to use them.

One of the elements that may make a recall easier is visibility into which components came from particular suppliers. Demonstrating which products possess a flawed part may help limit the scope of a recall and ensure that every compromised piece is accounted for.

A supplier labeling strategy that unites a manufacturer with the rest of its supply chain is essential in such a situation. Leaders will have easy access to detailed records on where everything went, enhancing traceability.

Thanks for watching. We'll be back with more supplier labeling insights.
