Meet EU CLP regulations with ease

Non-compliant chemical labels mean you cannot ship products in or out of the EU. Transform your supply chain operations and prepare for the future with Loftware's SAP-certified labeling solutions.

    What is EU CLP?

On April 23, 2024, the EU updated its CLP Regulation (Classification, Labeling, and Packaging) to strengthen hazard communication for chemicals. Aligned with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), the new requirements aim to improve label clarity, consumer safety, and transparency.

The revised CLP Regulation requires labels to follow stricter formatting standards, including:

    • Minimum font sizes, height, and color
    • Increased letter and line spacing
    • Improved contrast for better readability

Many existing labels will need to be redesigned to meet the new formatting and content requirements.
