At Loftware, our people make the difference by bringing curiosity, collaboration, and customer-first thinking to everything we do. In this edition of our Employee Spotlight blog, we’re featuring Sarah Hrycyk, Marketing Programs Manager, who supports Loftware’s growth across the region and brings a thoughtful, creative approach to everything she does.
Sarah became part of Loftware in early 2022 and today supports the EMEA region as Marketing Programs Manager, based in the UK. In her role, she helps bring marketing plans to life - coordinating programs and campaigns, partnering closely with sales and other teams, and ensuring activities are aligned to local market needs. From planning and executing initiatives to tracking results and refining what works, she plays a key part in helping Loftware engage customers and drive growth across EMEA.
One non-professional skill she says has surprisingly helped her career is dyslexia, which she once felt she needed to mask, but now sees as a strength. Over time, she’s found it’s shaped the way she approaches her work in marketing in several meaningful ways. Sarah realizes that overcoming this challenge has helped boost her career confidence with creative problem-solving through a different way of processing information and a finite ability to spot patterns. Beyond this, Sarah notes, “I have developed empathy through personal challenges that helps me connect with colleagues and customers alike and has given me the adaptability and resilience needed to thrive in a fast-moving marketing environment.”

Manager, Marketing Programs
If she weren’t working in marketing at Loftware, her alternate career plans would lean heavily toward animals (and a little adventure) - living on a canal boat as a pirate, being a full-time foster dog mum to senior dogs, or running an animal sanctuary. “Not all at once, of course!” , Sarah states.
Her advice is simple but powerful. “Don’t compare yourself to others and enjoy the learning process”, she said. Early in her career, comparison impacted her motivation and mental health, until she realized she was “comparing her chapter one to someone else’s chapter twenty, in a completely different book”, she says.
Japan tops her travel wish list, from the energy of Tokyo and cherry blossoms to the slower pace of Osaka. Closer to home, her favorite local spots range from National Trust walks and summer pub gardens to food adventures in London’s Chinatown.
We’re grateful to have her on the Loftware team and look forward to sharing more employee stories that highlight the people behind our success.
