Loftware announces support for Markem-Imaje coding and marking printers

Laura Hindley

Senior PR & Communications Manager

We’re thrilled to share that we have expanded the technology to print from Loftware Spectrum and Loftware NiceLabel to the full range of Markem-Imaje coding and marking printers, allowing customers to deploy, maintain, and scale all coding, marking, and labeling management across multiple locations via one unified software platform.

The Markem-Imaje printers covered under this technology development include the 90xx, 94xx, and 97xx Continuous Inkjet models, the SmartDate® X30, X45, and X65 Thermal Transfer Overprinters, the 5xxx series of Large Character Inkjet printers, the 2200 Series and CimPak Print and Apply systems, the 1050 and 1200 Thermal Inkjet models, and the 4500 and 4700 Valvejet models.

Commenting, Paul Vogt, Loftware VP Partner Strategies, said: "The modern supply chain is complex and fraught with risk. One wrong move can result in bottlenecks, manual errors, and cost implications. As companies navigate these choppy waters, they're increasingly looking for a way to manage all their end-to-end supply chain printing from a single platform. That’s where Loftware comes in.

Organizations can now use our powerful labeling solutions to design, integrate, manage, and print all supply chain labels using the full range of Markem-Imaje coding and marking printers. This will be particularly beneficial for companies operating within the life sciences, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, automotive, chemical, and electrical industries."

By deploying Loftware’s solutions, companies of all sizes gain the integration capabilities to manage output for all their coding and marking devices including label printers, document printers, tag and ticket printers, continuous and thermal inkjet, label print and apply, thermal transfer overprint, and laser marking.

Our cloud-based solutions permit business users to respond to change requests and print jobs without IT assistance, which reduces delays and frees up costly IT resources. By moving to the cloud, companies of all sizes can reduce the cost of their labeling, avoid missed opportunities, and drastically reduce the risk of printing errors.

Users of Spectrum and NiceLabel can extend their existing labeling solutions to drive Markem-Imaje coding and marking printers and can download the associated drivers here. The support Loftware has added for Markem-Imaje printers is in addition to the 5000+ printer models across 100+ printer brands that we already support.
