Unlock the Power of Standards—and Labeling—at GS1 Connect
by Craig Hodgson, on May 24, 2016
Going to GS1 Connect in Washington, DC, June 1st – 3rd? Billed as the one event where organizations can “unlock the power of GS1 standards” to move their business forward, GS1 Connect is sure to attract key decision makers across a range of industries. The opportunity to hear from thought leaders as well as network with peers remains a top draw for the GS1 US community. And this year’s event promises to be just as worthwhile with a jam-packed agenda.
As you’re pulling together your own itinerary for GS1 Connect—what sessions to attend, which solution partners to visit, when can you break away to catch up on email, etc.—here’s a tip: leave some time to learn about what’s new in Enterprise Labeling Solutions at the Loftware booth #10.
If you were planning on doing that anyway, great, we have some nice giveaways too. If not, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised to hear how today’s labeling software solutions are helping to transform global supply chains. Labeling is no longer an afterthought; it’s a strategic imperative. By leveraging GS1 standards and integrating barcode labeling with existing enterprise systems, companies are able to sustain compliance, while nimbly adapting to ever-changing requirements.
Of course, every industry is different, each with its own set of regulations and challenges. That’s why Loftware goes deeper with domain experts specializing in the same industries as GS1 US—plus many more. At GS1 Connect, you can meet with our specialists in Food & Beverage and Life Sciences, who will gladly discuss ways to help you meet your unique requirements. You can ask about some of the specific customers we partner with (including quite possibly your competitors!) and how they’ve made labeling within SAP and Oracle environments an integral part of their business.
Also, while you’re at GS1 Connect, be sure to join me Thursday, June 2 at 1:30 in Exhibit Hall A as I’ll present a Tech Track on “Labeling: Achieving GS1 Compliance—and Much More.” You’ll learn how leading companies in the Food & Beverage, Medical Device and Retail & Apparel industries are dramatically improving operations with an integrated, enterprise-wide approach to labeling.
Afterwards, I’ll be happy to spend some time with you and share more about how Loftware is helping companies like yours not only address existing and emerging GS1 standards, but doing so in a way that enhances business processes, reduces costs, and responds faster to customers across their extended supply chain.
I look forward to seeing you there. In the meantime, I invite you to download a Special Report, “Enterprise Labeling – A Supply Chain Strategic Imperative,” produced in cooperation with leading industry analyst VDC Research.
