Better supplier labeling: Part 8 [Video]

by Craig Hodgson, on August 30, 2017

Welcome back to the Loftware blog. Today we'll continue our look at supplier labeling and the better performance enabled by a consistent, standardized approach.

No change gets made without sufficient demand, so it's worth focusing on the forces urging manufacturers to get more efficient with their supplier labeling processes.

Upper management at factories will often seize chances to boost efficiency and reduce costs. The search for areas that are currently problematic has led manufacturers to the transfer and storage of raw materials.

The new focus on labeling is based on the discovery that this relatively minor change can have a huge impact on the way goods are shipped received and stored. The added visibility gained from a standardized labeling system has valuable effects.

Thanks for watching. We'll be back soon with more enterprise labeling insights.
