Welcome back to the Loftware blog, where we're discussing the many advantages of standardized supplier labeling that connects manufacturers to their raw materials providers.

The central idea behind these processes is that they make two distinct companies function as one, creating a previously impossible level of transparency.

The important data points that become more visible with better supplier labeling are numerous. From timing of shipments to the costs paid for transportation and everything in between, manufacturers gain a new window into their suppliers' activities, one that can cut costs and boost oversight.

Uncertainty is the enemy of efficiency in manufacturing. With a view of what labels are being printed when, and even the ability to set rules governing the labeling process, manufacturers drastically improve their insights.
