Compliance Labels

Loftware provides these Label Templates as Building Blocks for you to design Compliant Labels.
Loftware does not guarantee that these label templates conform to the latest requirements established by every firm or regulatory agency. Before using any of these label templates in a production environment, Loftware strongly recommends that you either contact the appropriate business partner or governing regulatory agency for their most recent labeling specifications. Loftware can also perform these tasks for you as a part of a Loftware Professional Services Label Design and Compliance engagement.

While these label templates were designed by Loftware to meet labeling specifications as defined by the named major corporations and regulatory agencies, we do not provide formal compliance certification for your labels. Loftware does not guarantee that these downloadable label templates will work properly with all prior versions of the Loftware Label Manager. Please also note that label templates can and do print differently on different printer brands and on individual printer models within a printer brand due to variations in available native font types and printer resolutions.

Loftware Label Design and Compliance Services
Loftware offers Professional Services on a fee basis to aid our customers in designing labels for compliance certification with their business partners or regulatory agencies. Most of our customers are able to build their required label templates without any assistance from Loftware. However, there are situations where customers require additional expertise that is not available in-house. Loftware’s Professional Services Group includes consultants with extensive bar code and RFID smart labeling experience who can facilitate the creation of compliant labels. Quotes are based on an hourly fee and given on a case by case basis, depending on the complexity of the label template design and certification project.

Download Directions
Save the downloaded Loftware Label Templates to the Template folder in the Loftware Labeling directory. When you want to use the Template, click File > New, and check "Compliance Template Label" in the New Media Wizard or the "Use Template" box in older Loftware Versions. From there, it is a simple matter to scroll down and choose the Template you want to use.

Automotive
If you are a GM (General Motors) Supplier, then you know that new compliance labeling standards are being implemented all the time. The new templates for GM are included in the Loftware CD.

Loftware also has a GM Bar Code Wizard, which creates the complex PDF417 Bar Code, an essential component of the GM 1724 label. This wizard may be used with Loftware Versions 5x and above.
