Senior Account Executives - Food and Beverage, Life Science and Manufacturing Verticals

Enterprise Labeling Solutions are mission critical to our customers in assuring continuity in their production, inventory control, and overall supply chains, conformance with global regulatory agencies for product identification and shipping regulations, as well as rapidly changing business partner requirements that directly impact shipping documentation finished goods branding and labeling. Our customer’s requirements require a dynamic, agile, high performance solution that is integrated with their ERP, WMS, PLM, MES and related supply chain execution applications. Loftware’s Senior Account Executives “own” and manage an entire vertical across North America. This approach allows the Senior Account Executive to devise specific vertical market strategies, which are executed with support from the executive team, sales management and marketing personnel. Programs can include our thought leadership platforms, internet-based programs, industry and customer focused events and more... This position provides a unique opportunity to run a “business within Loftware”. The Senior Account Executive will personally target our existing largest customers in the Food and Beverage vertical, Life Science vertical or Manufacturing vertical, as well as benefit from on-going revenue generated by the inside sales team in these verticals. The great news is that the Company has a large existing customer base within each vertical market, the domain knowledge, the Marketing Machine, industry-leading solutions, and executive know-how that will support your success.

Required Skills

  • 8+ year’s experience selling ERP, WMS or Supply Chain solutions
  • Proven success penetrating large Manufacturing enterprises and selling “deeper and wider”
  • Experience selling to both existing accounts and net new business
  • Highly skilled selling to multiple roles and levels within the specific vertical enterprise
  • Skilled at qualifying large opportunities and executing a value and solution based sales process
  • Demonstrated ability to network and work effectively with strategic partners, i.e. SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards
  • Knowledge of solution and value-based selling methodologies
  • Verifiable track record of achieving/exceeding quota
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with virtual teams including Marketing, Solution Engineers, and Services.
  • Ability to travel 20% to 30% of your time for face to face customer and prospect meetings

Loftware prefers New England based candidates that can periodically collaborate in-person at Loftware’s Headquarters in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. However, Loftware has sales personnel throughout the U.S. and will hire the best candidates regardless of location.

Solutions Engineer

Loftware is the foremost authority and market software leader in delivering innovative business solutions for meeting a company’s global labeling requirements. Loftware’s enterprise label and print management software suites enable organizations running Oracle®, SAP®, and other major ERP, supply chain and warehouse management applications to quickly develop and deploy complex barcode label and RFID smart label tags. Our products are certified by both SAP and Oracle and we are SAP and Oracle business partners implementing joint go-to-market plans.

Loftware is expanding its European operations and we are looking to hire a Solution Engineer, based in Europe and reporting to Loftware’s Director of Technical Services. The Solution Engineer will work closely with Loftware's European Sales Team to drive the adoption of Loftware's enterprise software solutions throughout our large customer base as well as develop new customers.

Responsibilities:

  • The Solution Engineer is responsible for supporting the value proposition in the pre-sales process with the sales team during the discovery phase as part of the overall sales strategy. She/he will work closely with Account Executives to gather customer requirements, sample data and define specific scenarios via on-site customer visits. She/he will identify solution components, unique benefits, differentiators, ROI and prepare presentations and demonstrations.
  • The Solution Engineer is also responsible for project management and implementation of the proposed solution. She/he will manage our customers through a proven, structured methodology where the solution will be deployed, knowledge transferred, best practices adhered to and go-live completed.
  • To ensure the clients' and Company's needs are met, the Solution Engineer will regularly liaise with other members of the Sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services and senior management.

Attributes

  • The qualified candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent along with 7-10 years in a technology environment and experience in solution development in a software or ASP environment. We require at least 5 years in the enterprise management space, preferably in a pre-sales capacity, experience with solution development in a software environment consulting to Fortune 500 companies. You must be tenacious, intelligent and entrepreneurial in nature. You should have a good understanding of sales methodologies and automation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are an absolute must. Travel (approximately 50%) is required.
