Business Development Representative - Portsmouth

Loftware is currently seeking a highly driven Business Development Representative to join our expanding Inside Sales team. The candidate will be an individual who can generate new business pipeline over the telephone, email and social media.

What you get to do in this role:
  • Establish, develop and grow new business relationships over the telephone with influential contacts within Key Target Accounts.
  • Meet or exceed Monthly, Quarterly and Annual sales objectives.
  • Ability to understand an organization’s business drivers, challenges, pain points
  • Able to identify new opportunities and pass to the sales representatives you support
  • Align with sales to effectively create regional territory plans
  • Utilize and leverage internal technology to manage marketing leads effectively
  • Effective Data Management through internal and external sources such as CRM, social media, search engines and press
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
  • Experience with telemarketing, lead generation, or cold calling
  • General understanding of Information Technology
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written skills
  • Able to build meaningful business relationships with Loftware customers, prospects and internal colleagues
  • Confident and able to differentiate yourself
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 0-4 years’ experience in a sales or sales development role
  • Strong work ethic
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Life time learner who has a deep interest in technology and seeks a career in sales
