Folder Locations

Figure 2 shows the folder structure for the Console created by the setup program.  A brief description of the folder contents are shown in the table.

bin

Batch/shell scripts to launch the Connector Console for both Windows and Unix environments.  Various property files are present for storing console settings.

conf

Property and configuration files for use by the embedded version of the Tomcat web server needed for stand alone operation of the LCC.

lib

All Java libraries (.jar files) necessary to run the Console.

logs

Default directory for Connector Console web application log files. 

war

Directory containing Web Archive (war) for the Connector Console application for deployment to J2EE web application servers.

webapps

ROOT web application for embedded Tomcat server and ConnectorConsole web application for running the console with the embedded web application server.

work

Working folder for compiled JSP files.  JSP files are compiled on first use or when changed.

In addition to these folders, XML and format files that can be used for testing filter functionality are also installed in the following folders:

Loftware Labeling\Diagnost\oracleconnector – Contains 5 sample XML print requests, one for each of the filters

Loftware Labeling\Labels\oracleconnector – Contains 8 LWL format files used in the print requests
