Desktop Support Analyst

Loftware is a well established, profitable company with thousands of customers worldwide and we are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our internal Information Technology as a key team member that will be responsible for day–to–day desktop operations as well as various technology projects in supporting the business goals and objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day investigation, tracking, and resolution of end user technical issues and requests through centralized ticketing system
  • Provisioning of all desktop hardware and software as well as end user training for all new employees
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of all PCs, printers, mobile devices, IP Phones, and all other end user technical devices
  • Documentation of all desktop related procedures and training materials for end user community
  • Daily administration, configuration, and support of key end user systems including Windows 10, HP, Lenovo, and Microsoft laptops and peripherals, Veeam Backup and Recovery, Kaspersky Antivirus, Active Directory, Exchange/Mimecast , and Mitel MCD 3300 IP Phone System
  • Assist Systems/Network Administrator and IT Manager with companywide rollout of new technologies and associated project duties
  • Research and report on new technologies that would help the department meet new and ever changing business goals and requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum associates degree in computer science or related IT technical accreditation
  • 3+ years supporting end users in a fast paced desktop environment with very good organization skills
  • Superior “can do” positive attitude with the ability to work effectively with all levels of end users throughout the organization
  • A solid communicator that is regularly willing to provide valuable feedback to the rest of the team, share ideas and opinions on technology used within the company, and thoroughly document processes and techniques
  • Willingness to show up each and every day with an upbeat attitude and perform at a high level of professionalism and consistency. Must be consistently on time and ready to go. Hours for the position are 9AM to 6PM Monday through Friday

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Technical undergraduate degree in the Computer Science or Engineering

  • Any direct experience with SCCM or vCloud Director / Cloud Services would be a huge plus

Loftware’s Senior Account Executives “own” and manage a vertical market across North America. This approach allows the Senior Account Executive to devise specific vertical market strategies, which are executed with support from the executive team, sales management and marketing personnel. Programs can include our thought leadership platforms, internet-based programs, industry and customer focused events and more. This position provides a unique opportunity to run a “business within Loftware”. Required Skills

  • 8+ year’s experience selling ERP, WMS or Supply Chain solutions
  • Proven success penetrating medical device, pharmaceutical, and bio tech (Life Sciences) companies and selling “deeper and wider”
  • Experience selling to both existing accounts and net new business
  • Highly skilled selling to multiple roles and levels within the Life Sciences enterprise

Technical Support Engineer

The primary responsibility of a Technical Support Engineer is to ensure that Loftware customers receive the highest level of technical support possible and assist in resolving the department’s most complex incidents. The Technical Support Engineer provides advanced solutions to customers’ most complex technical issues via telephone, email, and other remote media. Loftware relies on the Technical Support Engineer to provide advanced technical answers and handle department customer-relations issues in a timely, professional and customer-friendly manner. Technical Support Engineers are also in-house advocates for the customers, and provide a positive, unified and technically invaluable voice of Loftware to the customers.

The Technical Support Engineer is the highest technical level position in the department. This position is expected to have the ability to resolve the department’s most complex technical incidents and work in coordination with external departments (Professional Services, QA, Development/Engineering, etc). The Technical Support Engineer creates and reviews complex technical material and coordinates multi-department escalations as needed. This position provides leadership and direct support to the Technical Support Specialist and Senior Technical Support Specialist.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitors phone queue coverage as needed to ensure reasonable and acceptable customer wait times.
  • Monitors electronic incident inboxes as needed for efficient incident logging.
  • Resolves highly complex to engineering level technical issues for customers via telephone and electronic media for Loftware related issues.
  • Develops advanced to engineering-level action plans to address the department’s most complex issues for Loftware’s customer base.
  • Effectively manages incident backlog; proactively informs customers and management of status.
  • Proficiency in handling engineering level incidents within the department and coordinates outside of the department without being instructed. Leads these coordinated efforts efficiently to resolution.
  • Performs Loftware product ‘code review’ and engineering level ‘code debug testing.’
  • Reviews of Loftware and related products in relation to customer-specific incidents, implementations and new product testing.
  • Authors professional documentation including knowledge base articles, Jira Issues, engineering documents and incident cases.
  • Works with Development on engineering-level (code level) understanding of Loftware products and documents.
  • Provides quality Loftware training and advanced/complex services.
  • Professional and Technical ability to successfully complete advanced Professional Services projects.

Software Engineer-Java Developer

We are looking for a highly-motivated senior Java Developer, with substantial high-volume transactional system design and implementation experience. The optimal candidate will have a proven track record of working with business, functional, and technical teams to implement and support solutions to meet business objectives. He/She will work closely with technical leads in developing enterprise class applications, and must have a good understanding of, and practical production experience with, distributed Java enterprise application development. The candidate would be an integral part of the design and development of current and future Loftware products, and is expected to contribute to the broader growth and company culture.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • 4-10 years of Java development, preferably with a focus on enterprise applications
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and development
  • Understanding of usability concepts, with the ability to quickly prototype new ideas.
  • Experience with Apache Tomcat, J2EE Application Servers and databases is required.
  • Knowledge of Hibernate, Spring Framework, JUnit, Linux is a plus.

Implementation Consultant

Loftware is expanding its US operations and we are looking to hire an Implementation Consultant, based in the US. The Implementation Consultant will work closely with Loftware's Sales Engineering Team to drive the adoption of Loftware's enterprise software solutions throughout our large customer base as well as develop new customers.

Responsibilities:

The Implementation Consultant is responsible for project management and implementation of the proposed solution as defined by the Sales Engineering Team. She/he will manage our customers through a proven, structured methodology where the solution will be deployed, knowledge transferred, best practices adhered to and go-live completed.

To ensure the clients' and Company's needs are met, the Implementation Consultant will regularly liaise with other members of the Sales Engineering team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Sales and senior management.

Post-sale

Sales Engineer - Professional Services Group

Loftware is expanding its Professional Services Team and we are looking to hire a Sales Engineer, based in the US. The Sales Engineer will work closely with Loftware's Sales Team to drive the adoption of Loftware's enterprise software solutions throughout our large customer base as well as develop new customers.

Responsibilities:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the value proposition in the pre-sales process with the sales team during the discovery phase as part of the overall sales strategy. She/he will work closely with Account Executives to gather customer requirements, sample data and define specific scenarios via on-site customer visits. She/he will identify solution components, unique benefits, differentiators, ROI and prepare presentations and demonstrations.

To ensure the clients' and Company's needs are met, the Sales Engineer will regularly liaise with other members of the Sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services and senior management.

Pre-Sale

  • Collaborates with Loftware regional sales representatives in identifying, qualifying and evaluating technical solution design.
  • Act as consultants to the prospect bringing together their requirements with Loftware capabilities resulting in potential revenue opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of presentations, tools, and the execution of the sales strategies resulting in new business revenue as well as growing any existing relationships.
  • Develop the customized value proposition and sales strategy on a per account basis and understand the technical and business challenges of the prospect.
  • Interface with customers, including C-level executives to build presentations, proposals, statements of work (SOW), asses risk and work with sales team to navigate complex selling environments.
  • Report internally on customer requirements in an organized fashion to assist product marketing and product management in defining future product requirements.
